You may have noticed if you are a regular visitor to scoobyphotos.com that I now have a partner site, SubaruNews.net. The reason behind this is that we are trying to cross-promote our sites - people interested in photos of Subaru Impreza's are likely to be interested in the latest news from Subaru, in the same way as those who are interested in the news may well be interested in Subaru photographs.

I'm hoping that this latest partnership will help drive up visitors, which in turn always helps generate new content for the site via new uploads and submissions, and helps generate a small amount of income from advertising.

My main aim currently for scoobyphotos.com, apart from adding qualiy content on a regular basis, is to get it as well known as possible, with a minimum outlay. The site is non-profit (and to a very large extent non-money-making as well) so all publicity has to be generated by word of mouth, Subaru related forums, partnerships, and search engine results. If you can help with promotion of the site, either by a link on the front page of you website, or by sponsoring scoobyphotos.com financially, it would be a big help. If you have a Subaru related website that is selling a product of some form, adertising on scoobyphotos.com is a good way of reaching 10,000 Subaru Enthusiasts a month.

I'd love the site to cover its own costs (hosting), either by the revenue generated by the adverts, or money made from the downloadable phone wallpapers, but it doesn't look like either is going provide that much financial support. If either do start to make the site a little bit of money, I've pledged that anything above and beyond the hosting costs will be donated to a Childrens Charity here in the UK (although I haven't decided which one yet, I may open it up to be a poll on the website to see which would be the most popular choice).
